The Facility Department at Janssen Biologics manages both Hard and Soft Services to ensure smooth operations. Hard Services cover maintenance of non-production utilities, including office buildings, laboratories, fire and security systems, potable water, sewer, energy management, and spare parts. Soft Services include security, cleaning, gowning, catering, mailroom, and pest control, creating a well-maintained work environment. Most services operate under a Vested contract with our "WE-company" partner, Sodexo, ensuring efficiency and quality. The introduction of new buildings, equipment, and systems brings opportunities to engage in (inter-) site projects and global J&J initiatives. These projects involve working with diverse nationalities within the Johnson & Johnson network. Collaboration ensures alignment with global sites, fostering innovation and operational excellence. The department plays a crucial role in maintaining safety, sustainability, and efficiency across the facility.
- Ensure Facility Services comply with EHS & Quality standards.
- Coordinate Soft Services (security, mailroom, food services, housekeeping, conference rooms, AV, pest control, cleaning, etc.).
- Oversee Hard Services (fire safety, CCTV, access control, civil works, utilities, automatic doors, lifting equipment).
- Manage preventive & corrective maintenance for all systems.
- Liaise with Sodexo on all Facility services.
- Monitor operational budgets & service provider performance.
- Support capital & infrastructure projects as a sponsor.
- Assist in deploying enterprise Facilities programs at J&J Netherlands.
- Maintain customer relationships across EHS, Operations, Quality, and Engineering.
- Translate stakeholder expectations into business service solutions.
Functie-eisen
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or a Technical discipline.
- Strong focus on EHS & GMP Quality engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-discipline collaboration.
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a Plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic & demanding environment.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and methods.
- Experience with GMP documentation.
- Proficient in Technical writing.
Competenties
- Experience in project coordination, budget tracking, and evaluating service providers.
- Solid technical background in preventive and corrective maintenance of security systems, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Proactive in optimizing processes, solving challenges, and adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work across various disciplines, nationalities, and levels.
- Works effectively with internal teams (EHS, Quality, Engineering, Operations) and external partners like Sodexo.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Duration: 12-month contract ( with possibility of extension to Temporary/ Permanent contract)
- Full-time on-site (flexibility can be discussed).
- 32 hours per week, with an option for 40 hours.
