Technical Department Manager ICC Software
Join Philips as a Technical Department Manager ICC Software in the Imaging Chain Cluster, where you'll be responsible for the talent management, way of working and output of the team. You will lead and develop the team within the allocated budget, on time and with the highest level of quality. The work is based on a product and technology roadmap, new product introductions, product lifecycle management activities and advanced field support. Your Role:
• As the Technical Department Manager, you will lead one of the software departments for our minimal invasive systems, consisting of approximately 15-25 engineers located mainly in the Netherlands and define the group composition including required proficiencies, resources and skills.
• Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable products.
• Define and implement process and improvement activities.
• Handle relationships with suppliers and partners, and internally with like Innovation, Operations, Customer Services and Marketing.

Competenties
You're the Right Fit If:
• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of technical software development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management with strong communication skills.
• Very experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills and a continuous improvement attitude.
• Experience in high-performance real-time C++ code design and implementation is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare products, interoperability standards (DiCOM, FHIR), and experience in Windows, Linux, firmware and hardware.
• Experience in testing and quality assurance is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare products (preferably IGT-S) and hardware development / maintenance.
• Leader through example.
