We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong focus on process and mechanical engineering for a temporary, project-based role within our factory. While experience with electrical systems is a plus, it is not mandatory. This role is designed to achieve specific project objectives and is best suited for a mid-level to senior professional.
You will coordinate and execute a variety of projects within the factory, managing between 5–20 smaller projects with budgets ranging from €10k to €100k, as well as 1–3 medium-sized projects with budgets between €100k and €300k. This dynamic portfolio provides an excellent opportunity to leverage both your organizational and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute multiple projects in process and mechanical engineering, from technical specification to implementation.
- Analyze and select mechanical and process solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders across different departments.
- Collaborate with other technical disciplines, such as IT, automation, and utility engineering, to develop integrated solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during project execution.
- Manage project risks, including budget control, timelines, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, and ensure smooth system handovers to operational teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a technical role, with proven project management experience in industrial environments, preferably in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of process and mechanical systems, along with experience in project planning, risk management, and budget control.
Skills:
- Ability to independently execute projects according to company standards and processes without direct supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and decision-making within the scope of project objectives.
