We are currently looking for a talented Operational Supplier Coordinator to join our client, Vanderlande, a leading global player in automation for logistics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to enhance the supply chain processes within a high-tech environment.
Your Role as Operational Supplier Coordinator
In this role, you will play a key part within the Operational Supplier Management (OSM) team. Alongside your colleagues, you will ensure suppliers meet agreements and that materials are available on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main liaison for Supply Chain Management, suppliers, and internal customers.
- Collaboration & Project Participation: Work alongside cross-functional procurement teams and take part in supplier improvement initiatives with the Sourcing Manager and Quality Engineer.
- Master Data & Supplier Management: Oversee the management of master data for supplier categories, while fostering strong supplier relationships in close collaboration with the Sourcing department.
- Proactive Supply Chain Management: Identify trends, prevent material shortages, optimize inventory, and improve logistics processes based on in-depth analysis of supply chain data.
- Supplier Development: Work closely with suppliers to improve their processes, provide training, and ensure they effectively use systems and processes to meet company expectations.
- Process Improvement: Apply LEAN methodologies (such as 4C/A3/8D problem-solving) and contribute to various departmental projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Monitoring: Keep track of Material Availability and understand how Material Requirements Planning (MRP) affects the wider supply chain, with regular reporting on key metrics.
Functie-eisen
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or sourcing (preferably in a high-tech, low-volume manufacturing environment).
- Experience in material planning and ERP systems, preferably JDE/Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent (English) communication in skills with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Yacht biedt een aantrekkelijk pakket aan arbeidsvoorwaarden waaronder:
Primaire arbeidsvoorwaarden:
- Een goed salaris, tussen €3.400 - €4.600 bruto per maand o.b.v. 40 uur (inschaling afhankelijk van kennis en werkervaring);
- 1 x 13e maand (wordt periodiek naar rato uitgekeerd) of een kwartaal bonus. Het hoogste bedrag wordt aan het einde van het jaar aan je uitbetaald;
- 8,33% vakantiegeld berekend over 12 maandsalarissen.
Contractvorm:
- Een projectcontract, waarbij we graag toewerken naar een onbepaalde tijdscontract;
Secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden:
- Pensioen Plus regeling (opbouw vanaf dag 1);
