Are you ready to put your GDPR expertise to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment? We’re partnering with Nationale-Nederlanden to find a GDPR Implementation Specialist who will play a key role in preparing for the launch of the NN Bank Payments Proposition in March 2024.
In this role, you’ll team up with the Payments crew to embed GDPR requirements into their systems and processes. From driving compliance to managing risks, you’ll be at the heart of making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also tackle assessments, analyze data, and help bring key projects over the finish line.
What Are You Going to Do?
- You will support the business in completing essential GDPR activities, including Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- You will develop and finalize data retention schedules for all relevant applications.
- You will collaborate closely with the business to gather information on how specific GDPR requirements have been integrated into systems and operational processes.
The business has already conducted an extensive gap analysis to see the current state of GDPR implementation, and you will help make sure that the actions are completed on time.
- You will be responsible for delivering compliance and risk assessments, ensuring that all tasks are addressed in a timely manner, and performing data protection risk assessments to define key risks within a six-week timeframe.

Job Requirements:
- Proven knowledge and experience with GDPR implementation, ideally within a banking or retail payments organization.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations and their practical application in business processes.
- Ability to conduct and manage Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data on GDPR compliance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver tasks within tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
We offer:
- A 3-month contract, with flexible working hours (28-32 hours per week).
- the flexibility of working remotely, with a chance to collaborate in person with the team on-site every Monday and Thursday.
- A monthly salary between €5000 and €5500 based on 32 hours per week.
