About the Role:

The Global Cycles and Procurement (C&P) Partner for Growth program is one of Danone’s global priorities, designed to build and drive partnerships focused on efficiency, innovation, capacity creation, and sustainability with our external ecosystem.

This flagship program, launched in 2023, is a critical enabler of Renew Danone. It spans all purchasing categories—ingredients, packaging, manufacturing, indirects, and agriculture—and is aimed at capturing innovation and emerging technologies from suppliers, start-ups, and academia. The goal is to create value that aligns with Danone’s One Planet, One Health mission and to address consumer and patient needs through collaboration with internal teams, such as Research & Innovation, Global Categories, and Operations.

As the Global C&P Manager - Innovation and Partnerships, you will take the lead in shaping and executing this high-impact program across all purchasing categories. You will oversee strategic planning, drive cross-functional collaboration, and engage with external partners. Your role will include tracking program performance, reporting to senior leadership, and organizing key events with Danone’s executive teams and external stakeholders.

This role demands strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to deliver tangible results in efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.

 

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership:

  • Lead the Partner for Growth program, managing multiple projects simultaneously across diverse categories.
  • Track, monitor, and report program performance to senior leadership, ensuring all objectives are achieved.

Innovation & Collaboration:

  • Capture emerging technologies and innovations from external ecosystems (suppliers, start-ups, academia).
  • Build and manage partnerships that align with Danone’s mission and values.

Event Coordination:

  • Organize high-impact face-to-face events with Danone’s executive team and external stakeholders, including in Paris.
  • Create compelling content such as presentations, videos, and storytelling materials for these events.

Program Management:

  • Develop and manage dashboards, executive reports, and performance metrics in Power BI.
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and project risks, ensuring all projects align with critical workflows and decision points.
  • Improve project speed, reduce costs, and enhance overall quality and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Align cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder inputs effectively.
  • Support governance structures, including innovation steering committees and sub-activations.

Tools & Process Optimization:

  • Use and create web-based project management tools, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Finalize and support the signing of partnerships, while managing program tools and evaluations.

Additional Requirements

  • Available to work at least 3-4 days per week at the office in Hoofddorp.
  • Frequent travel to Paris, particularly in preparation for the major event in October.
  • Limited vacation availability: Vacation scheduling is restricted to August.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary Employment Terms

  • A competitive salary ranging from €5.000 to €6.500 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (entry level depends on knowledge and work experience).
  • 8.33% holiday allowance, calculated over 12 months' salary.

Contract Type

  • A project contract, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent contract.
