Role Overview
As an Industrial Engineer, your mission is to ensure seamless implementation and execution of field service and manufacturing activities. Simply put, you'll take a product from a brilliant concept to successful day-to-day operations. Working within ASML's EUV Source program, you’ll contribute significantly to the product lifecycle, from the early design phase—assessing manufacturability and serviceability—to the final stages of training and operational delivery.
The ultimate goal: enabling efficient assembly, testing, servicing, and troubleshooting of the latest-generation lithography machines.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Industrialization
- Conduct impact analyses and define serviceability/manufacturability requirements for new designs.
- Review new designs to ensure alignment with internal customer needs.
- Define and develop service and manufacturing activities, such as diagnostics, part replacements, and recovery processes.
- Drive industrialization of new products by conducting process engineering, de-risking through FMEAs, mock-up tooling trials, and performance tests.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to reduce factory cycle times and minimize machine downtime at customer sites.
Field & Factory Introduction
- Prepare Field and Factory teams for service and manufacturing tasks by creating comprehensive work instructions and defining required tools and parts.
- Address and resolve complex structural issues within sub-modules.
- Train Field and Factory teams to execute service and manufacturing processes effectively.
- Provide training to first-line support teams for troubleshooting product performance issues.
Field & Factory Support
- Lead the resolution of complex system issues by making practical and timely decisions.
- Provide on-site field support at customer and supplier locations, both domestically and internationally.

Education and experience
- MSc or BSc degree in one of the following: Optics/Physics , Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
Several years (+3) of relevant experience in a multi-disciplined team related to design and product introduction for complex systems.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- A monthly salary between €4200 - 5000
- A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
- 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
Secondary employment conditions
- Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
- 5% ADV allowance
- Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
- 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
