As a Product Service Engineer, you are the primary point of contact for internal and external technical and application-related issues and questions about Big Truck products. Initially, you will focus specifically on high-voltage, electric, and hydrogen-powered trucks, including terminal tractors. These are expansions of the current portfolio and are in development. Over time, the current production models with internal combustion engines will be added to the scope to provide support.
Functie-eisen
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) in Automotive Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Knowledge of vehicle systems, especially electrical architecture, is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive or a comparable sector—such as agriculture.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Dutch. Other languages are a plus.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Works well under pressure and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines - this job includes some fieldwork and requires travel.
- Previous experience in a customer-oriented role is a plus.
The main responsibilities of this role:
- Identify technical service issues and collaborate with relevant internal departments to resolve them. Implement timely solutions to prevent similar issues in the future.
- Support new technology during the technical development phase and with the first production trucks at the customer's location.
- Perform commissioning and on-site setup to assist dealers and customers with truck deliveries; Participate in new product development projects to cover the outcomes of After Market projects.
- Provide technical and operational training to dealers and end customers.
- Support the technical training department in creating training materials.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Hyster-Yale falls under the collective labor agreement for the metal and electrical industry and uses a market-conform, transparent classification per position.
