The Department and Role:

The Vendor Operations Services EU department ensures timely and accurate payments to suppliers and works closely with procurement and goods receiving to maintain positive supplier relationships. As a Financial Services Specialist, you will handle various tasks within accounts payable, such as invoice and payment processing, problem resolution, handling customer requests, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and supplier communication. You will also conduct financial analyses upon request.

You will contribute to process redesign, improvements, documentation, and training projects, while supporting your team in maintaining accounting and SOX compliance. Key responsibilities include processing invoices in the ERP system (including 3-way matching) and responding to complex supplier inquiries. You will also assist in AP issue analysis and support the Regional Vendor Operations Manager with special projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial environment, preferably in Accounts Payable
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • For this job it is important that you live in our around Eindhoven
  • Thorough knowledge of the full AP process; knowledge of P2P is a plus
  • Experience with SOX Controls and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with OneNote, To Do, Planner, and Miro is an advantage
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
