The Lead Engineer Electrical is accountable for overseeing engineering projects related to power distribution in data centers. They ensure technical solutions are executed within set timelines and budgets. Working with a team of approximately 20 engineers, they manage the engineering process, including supervision of Interface- and System engineers. Projects involve various aspects of power distribution systems, such as switchgear, transformers, and automation systems. The Lead Engineer maintains alignment across designs and disciplines while managing client interactions and coordinating with stakeholders. The role also entails frequent visits to factories and project sites, both domestically and internationally, for oversight and coordination purposes.
Functie-eisen
- Completed HTS or TU degree in electrical engineering with at least 7 years' work experience as (lead) engineer in multidisciplinary projects;
- Practical and theoretical experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations and standards such as IEC 61439;
- Experience in preparing technical reports and test plans;
- Creative, positive, able to communicate ideas and encourage people;
- Able to make engineering and execution plans, monitor them and realise them;
- Experience in working in a team and managing and coaching engineers;
- Communicative, political and commercially strong, able to cope with critical customers;
- Flexible and willing to travel regularly for short business trips;
- Stress-resistant and able to act within a pressured environment;
- Speaks and writes English fluently
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- A gross monthly salary of up to €6000
- A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
- 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
Secondary employment conditions
- Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
- 5% ADV allowance
- Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
- 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year.
